OVERWHELMED???

Ever feel overwhelmed?
We lose hope and our perspective is corrupted when we are overwhelmed by circumstances more than we are of God. When our focus is on how big our problems are, rather than on how big our God is.
Right now we are being bombarded by how big the problems are in our nation and world. Gas prices, government, jobs, (or lack thereof), political unrest, the election, religious fallout, and the overall breakdown of America from its families to its capitals.
And that does not include all the personal, everyday issues we may be facing right now.
This is a lot to be overwhelmed by if we stay focused there too long.
BUT!
As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, while I am not ignorant of all that is going on around me, I do not have to be overcome and overwhelmed by it all. In history, things have been worse, and yes, God has proven true and sufficient in difficult times.

Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

It is amazing to me that when I begin to focus on God and His word to us, and am reminded of how Awesome He IS,
and begin to tarry on His divine presence, how all the sudden my hope is renewed, my attitude and perspective are transformed, and I realize God IS greater than all these other things!

OVER-COMERS!!!

Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

If Jesus Christ really lives in us and we abide and live in Him, then we cannot lose!
What we need is to be overwhelmed by:
How great our God IS!
His promises ARE true!
Our God reigns
His truths ARE absolute!
And He IS coming again!

These are days where we need to know Him as we have never known Him before.
These are days when we need to call upon Him as we have never called upon Him before. These are days to reverence and worship Him as we have never worshipped Him before.

We, as sold out followers of Christ the Lord, are OVER-COMERS!

What ever it is you are facing or dealing with that needs to be conquered, you CAN be an overcomer through the power and presence of Jesus Christ as you turn to Him and walk with Him.
Romans 12:21
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Do be in prayer as we are wanting to give more time to this ministry. Please pray for the finances to help make this happen.
