April
2011
I AM BACK
2011 is
already going fast, and I cannot catch up. Sorry to be so
long in getting out my newsletter.
A lot has happened in the past couple of months, and it is
hard to believe it is April already.
My dad passed away last month, I have been partnering with a
church to develop leadership principles that will help to
train leaders to be Godly leaders in our society. I helped
conduct a seminar last week to train twenty leaders on how
to be God focused, people valuing, and people empowering.
God is continuing to open doors to mentor the next
generation for Christ.
Just last night as I was reading in Psalm 71, verse 18 stood
out to me, and I sensed God emphasizing through the
scripture His purpose for me at this time. Let me quote the
verse for you.
"Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, oh
God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your
might to all who are to come."
God continues to increase my passion to impact the next
generation for Him.
To mentor, train, and encourage those God is raising up to
serve Christ.
I am taking on new students each year in this process.
Please be in prayer as new opportunities open up.
Any
support you can offer helps to make this possible.
Celebration
We are
quickly approaching the celebration of the resurrection of our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
There is no event that offers more hope than the resurrection
of Jesus.
Life, with its tragedies and disappointments, has a way of
robbing us of the joys we once knew, and often it taints those
things that we once enjoyed.
In Genesis, we read about Adam and Eve, the first couple of
creation, and how they enjoyed all that God had made. But then
they ate of the forbidden fruit and now all was marred and
tainted by sin.
Our only hope for real joy is to be resurrected in Christ, who
is the Resurrection and the Life!
Only He can give us life abundant and free!
Only He can restore us to what God intended for us in the
beginning.
(Fellowship with Him)
Life here has tainted some of the things I once enjoyed, and I
don't know if I will enjoy those things again. But I do know
the joy and peace of knowing and walking with God through a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
When it is all said and done, I want it to be the joy of
walking with Christ that matters most.
All else will fade and fail, but Jesus Christ will remain. And
so will His Truth!
Do be in
prayer as we are wanting to give more time to this ministry.
Please pray for the finances to help make this happen.
Thank
you. Pastor Rick, Pastor of a church
without walls.
