WOW!
Another beautiful day in Colorado.
God is so good! I am amazed at how the Father, the creator
of the heavens and the earth, comes and talks to me through
His Holy Spirit as if it was just Him and me.
To think He values me as His child
enough to converse with me one on one. And to think how He
is omnipresent and can do the same with as many as come to
Him and call on His name!
How when Moses was called to lead
the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, God and Moses had a
personal conversation talking back and forth. WOW!
As John expressed in 1 John 3:1;
"How great
is the love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called children of God! And that is what
we are!"
Oh what a privilege and opportunity
we have to become the children of God through Jesus Christ
the Lord!
As I contemplate this, why would I
ever want to violate such an awesome, loving, Holy Lord and
selfishly withhold my life from Him?
No wonder Jesus said:
"He that
save his own life shall loose it.
But whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it."
This month, as God has reminded me
of how much He loves us, and how personal He is with us, one
on one, I have also been reminded of how dramatically
significant it is that we value one another. To communicate
to every individual we come in contact with that they are
important. They are valued.
Even as I share
this, I want YOU to know that YOU are valuable.
Oh how God loves YOU!!!
Oh how He wants to meet with YOU!
We Can
Know
The beauty of it all
is that we can know Him. And we can know that we know Him.
We can hear Him speak to our hearts. Jesus said:
"My sheep
know my voice."
The Challenge
I would challenge you in two
things.
1) Give your all to Jesus Christ.
Hold nothing back, and know you are valued by Him.
2) Purposefully begin to value others more.
From the waitress to your closest
friend, let them know they are valued. So valued that Jesus
shed His life's blood on the cross so we could be restored
to Him, forgiven, cleansed, and set free.
Yes, we are valuable to God!
