Merry Christmas
I just want to wish everyone a very
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Wow! How time flies. I am reminded,
as I see the seasons change, and the shifting of the
weather, even within the same season, that we live in a
world that is always changing.
Life has a way of always keeping us
on the edge of uncertainty. Leaving us wondering what's
around the next corner. What is going to unfold in the next
chapter of our lives.
This is the reality of life. But
the significant thing is how we approach it.
Some I know are terrified by it.
Always worrying and fretting, fearful and alarmed. Others
see it as an adventure. Always embarking upon the unknown.
While some shrink back, others have a growing excitement and
expectation. Some become entrenched and bitter, while others
look forward and have a calm assurance as they trust
themselves into the hands of a loving, all powerful God who
is in control.
At this time of year we celebrate
Christmas, the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. I am
reminded that in an ever changing world that keeps us in the
throws of uncertainty, there is One whose name is Jesus. One
who is the same yesterday, today, and forever more.
He is referred to as the Rock,
Solid Foundation, and Chief Cornerstone.
THIS IS
NOT ALL THERE IS!!!
Christmas, in its true
meaning, brings us hope no matter what season of life we are
in. No matter what the uncertainties we may be facing.
Jesus offers a
certainty of salvation and eternal life that is not subject
to the changing tides of this life.
This is not all there
is!!!
Jesus Christ did not
come as a babe in a manger to create a Holiday! He came to
establish His kingdom in each of us.
All else will crumble
and fall, only His kingdom will stand forever more.
Are you a part of
His kingdom?
Have you come to know Jesus Christ
personally? Do you have the certainty of His presence and
kingdom in your heart and life, so that the precipice of
uncertainties do not move you?
Those whose feet are planted on the
solid Rock, Jesus, will not be swept away.
May we all be reminded of what we
have available to us in the Christmas story, and be
encouraged by the message of the angels on that spectacular
night that is for us today as well;
"Do not be
afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for
all people... a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ
the Lord."
(Luke 2:10-11)

Please continue to pray for the
future of this ministry.
