Greetings Greetings in the Lord,

What an Awesome God we serve. He is our Creator, ruler over the universe, and yet He cares about every little detail of our lives. What a privilege it is to know Him and to serve Him. This Christmas one of the young men, who is a new pastor that I mentor, gave me a gift to express his gratitude and appreciation for the way Haven of Hope Ministries is impacting his life. He gave me a plaque that reads; 

Inspire - verb (1): to encourage somebody to greater effort, enthusiasm, or creativity (2): to awaken a particular feeling in somebody [Latin-inspirare "to breath"]

There is probably no greater joy in life than to know we are making a difference in the lives of others as God uses us for His purpose. God has reminded me that the ministry of Haven of Hope has a purpose that meets the needs of pastors and young men that are often left unmet. That what I am doing is of value. And it is our desire as a ministry to inspire and encourage those who are serving God on the front lines and in difficult times.

With a desire to reach out to more pastors and young men the board has decided to try to raise more funds for the ministry so that I can be freed up to give more time meeting with the pastors who need to be inspired. I am presently looking at some opportunities to connect with more pastors in the area. Please be in prayer for God's leadership and the support of this ministry.

Prayer concerns:
1) My wife Elaine as she lost her mother this month.
2) Pastor Lafe who is dealing with cancer.
3) For the right doors to open to reach more pastors.
4) For my trips to Burlington each month as I go to preach God's Word.
5) For the letters sent out to raise both prayer support and financial support.
