On or about July 17th a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors was held by teleconference, each Director who has signed below agrees to waiver advance notice, for consideration of the following items needing immediate action.

It was presented that the Founding Director, Rev Richard Messer and his spouse are currently undergoing much stress, including financial, due to his spouse Elaine Messer, requiring major emergency surgery for a life threatening medical problem. Elaine is expected to require a lengthy recovery period. The finances needed for covering the medical expense, plus the extended time before she is able to return to work create a potentially very large financial and difficult burden.

While the financial resources within Haven of Hope are currently minimal, the directors, herewith believe and agree that the Rev Richard and Elaine Messer should be provided help in as much is possible, while their need exists. Therefore the following priority will be followed for the next six (6) months in the handling any and all finances available in Haven of Hope.

• 1. The normal and usual monthly operating expenses will be paid as in the past.
• 2. Next, the previously established $600 per month housing allowance will continue to be paid to Rev Messer.
• 3. All Haven of Hope operating expense paid for by Rev Messer will regularly and quickly be reimbursed.
• 4. The Messer's medical expense needs will be reimbursed or paid directly with any funds that are still available and/or become available during the six (6) month period.
• 5. For the above period any remaining funds available after fully satisfying the above, shall be paid to Rev Messer as salary upon his request.
• 6. The Directors are committed to revisit these issues any time necessary for further action but no later than six (6) months from this date.

Our Hope and Prayer is that others knowing of and seeing these needs will allow God to Bless them, and the Rev Messers with direct gifts or by giving through Haven of Hope. We stand in awe knowing that God can and will be greatly Glorified as His plans for the future unfold.
